Local PNP Commended

The City Council of Olongapo passed a resolution commending the local PNP 3RD REGIONAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND DETECTION UNIT (CIDU) OF THE CITY HEADED BY POLICE SUPT. CHRISTOPHER TAMBUNGAN for their efforts in apprehending two big-time land swindlers operating in Olongapo City.

The swindlers were able to sweet talk 208 persons in Barangays Gordon Heights, Old Cabalan and New Cabalan with the promise that they will facilitate the titling of 2850-hectare land situated in Gordon Heights, Old and New Cabalan from the Land Registration Authority (LRA), Quezon City. Around half a million pesos had been collected from their victims.

In its resolution, the City salutes the efforts of the members of the team headed by Police Supt. Christopher E. Tambungan, DSC, MPA for handling this finest battle against the said swindlers with exceptional performance, proving that they can make a difference in promoting peace and order in the City:
