Zambales Magsaysay techno university inaugurated

Iba, Zambales -- The provincial sortie of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in this provincial capital inaugurated the Law Building, and the student center at the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University.

The arrival of her trip was greeted by various government officials, students, a and general public that give glow and hope for this province.

In addition to the above events, PGMA awarded educational assistance for the students in the second district of Zambales. This project was spearheaded by Department of Education, with 23,909 students enrolled in 45 schools for the school year 2005-2006, with a project cost of P15M.

More so, during the affair, GMA awarded membership assistance to Philhealth among indigents from the town of San Mrcelino going up north until the town of Sta. Cruz, consisting of 171 barangays, and with beneficiaries of 15,811 households.

The speech of PGMA were stressed on the following areas: "that mango research must be done in our province to better the quality of Zambales mango thus meeting the demand of China as buyer of these fruits, and nursing students must be encourage to serve our country as well as to export their skills overseas." Likewise she added that education is the key to alleviate poverty in our country. (Recto Mangosing Adamos, PIA Zambales)
