Subic Bay triathlon exec

ITU Subic Bay International Triathlon 2008 will have gone full circle when it gets under way May 10 and 11.

Its starting area will return after 15 years to the All Hands Beach at one end of the airport where the SUBIT all began, albeit adjacent to the resort so as not cause disturbance to the summer revelers.

With the “new” start area, the bike leg of the event, an integral part of the Asia Cup Series, will be much tougher as it will incorporate the killer at Binictican and the undulating terrain of the Naval Magazine deep in the forest. While the bike leg will be more challenging, it will be safer for the triathletes and will cause less inconvenience to motorists as it will pass through the center of Subic.

Registration is now on-going online (http://www.triathlon.org.ph/), at TRAP head office, room 202, Building Alpha, Philsports Comples, Pasig City, Fabie and Speedo concept stores at Ayala Alabang Town Center, SM Megamall, Podium , Glorietta 4, Bonifacio High Street (Global City), Mall of Asia, Cebu City.
