Iranian grandmasters in Philippine tournament

TEHRAN, Iran’s duo chess grandmasters are to participate in the 2nd Philippine International Open Chess Tournament to be held in Subic Bay, Philippines, from May 6 -15.

Ehsan Gha’em Maghami and Morteza Mahjoob have been invited to the tourney and will travel to Philippines on Sunday.

The tournament will be an 11-round Swiss system. The competitions are organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines. Tehran Times Sports Desk
