CITY FIESTA QUEEN 2008 CANDIDATES REVEALED
A total of seventeen candidates will compete for the title City Fiesta Queen 2008.
The presentation of the candidates was held last Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Olongapo City Convention Center. The project with the theme: “Bayanihang Gapo” is headed by Councilor Ellen Dabu.
The Olongapo City Fiesta 2008 Execom Chairperson and Councilor Ellen Dabu led the opening and presentation of the candidates with Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr., Vice-Mayor Cynthia Cajudo, Fiesta 2008 Execom Co-Chairperson Ellen Villar and other officials of the project.
Proceeds of the contest will fund the Olongapo City Scholarship program and Philhealth membership for indigents .
“Malugod naming hinihiling ang suporta ng mga mamamayan ng Olongapo upang makamit natin ang minimithing layunin ng programa, hindi lamang para sa ating Lungsod kundi pati rin sa mga Olongapeños na lubos na nangangailangan ng tulong.” Dabu said.
The Olongapo City Fiesta Queen 2008 candidates are:
