6 nabbed in Olongapo-Subic drug bust
OLONGAPO CITY- Six suspected drug pushers were arrested while 38 sachets of shabu were seized Thursday during a buy-bust operation conducted by Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) operatives in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic town, Zambales.
Chief Inspector Rogelio Ponce Penones, CIDG provincial chief, identified the suspects as Rolando Sabado, 32; Jesus Tajo, 18; Japeth Jabillo, 22; Joel Ignacio, 32; Santiago Querubin, 22, all of Calapacuan, Subic; and Leovin Gomes of Roosevelt, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
Major Penones said that they were able to confiscate 38 sachets of shabu worth R38,000 from the suspects.
Senior Supt. Marvin V. Bolabola, CIDG regional chief, commended Major Penones and his men for the successful operation dubbed as "Oplan Big Berta". (Mar T. Supnad - TEMPO)
