MAYOR GORDON APPRECIATES NGO PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY SERVICE
Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. recognized the efforts and resolve of the members of Masonic District Region III-C, a fraternal non-government organization, to assist the community.
This is in connection with the timely assistance rendered by the said organization to the flood victims of Botolon, Zambales, where some barangays were submerged in water after a portion of the earth-dike gave way due to the heavy rains brought by Typhoon Kiko last week.
“I am very glad that a group like the Masons assists the community in times of emergencies,” said Mayor Gordon.
Led by Tomasito Angeles, District Deputy Grandmaster and Dennis delos Santos, Committee Chairman on Community Service, the organization raised funds and distributed hundreds of repacked relief goods to the 10 barangays in Botolan affected by floods.
