THE EVENT: PAQUIAO VS CLOTTEY AT THE OCCC

Once again, the Olongapo City government is sponsoring the free viewing of the much awaited fight of the “pound for pound king” Manny “Pacman” Paquiao, the Philippines’ boxing hero, this time with the Ghanaian Joshua Clottey, former IBF Welterweight Champion, live via pay-per-view on March 14, 2010 at the Olongapo City Convention Center.

In this connection, Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. has again tasked City Dentist Donald Vigo to oversee the setting-up of seventeen (17) big LCD televisions and projectors and to designate personnel who will give medical care and enforce peace and order on the day of “the event.”

The free viewing of “The Event” along with Pacman’s previous fights are made possible thru the efforts of the city government with the support of Colorview Catv, provider of HBO Pay Per View and of the Ocampos Mall.
