BINIBINING OLONGAPO 2010 FINAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The City Tourism Office has released the final schedule of events for the “Search for Binibining Olongapo 2010.” After the final screening which was held on July 16, 2010, the Bb. Olongapo Committee has finally chosen the 18 candidates selected from ove 40 aspirants.

A series of pre- pageant activities has been lined up to culminate with the Grand Pageant Night on October 16 at the Olongapo City Convention Center.

Bb. Olongapo 2010 activities are as follows:

August 2 - Flag Raising Ceremony appearance

SBC TV 22 and DWok FM Visit

Subic Bay Radio

August 14 - Swimsuit Competition and Presentation Night

August 28 -City Clean Up and Museum Visit

September 11 - Fashionista Fashion Show

September 18 -Talent Presentation

Oriental Paradise casino, SBFZ

September 25- Charity Day

October 16- Grand Pageant Night

The Bb. Olongapo beauty pageant aims to recognize the finest maidens in the city and eventually crown the most deserving lady to be the epitome of the young Filipina, modest yet assertive in facing today’s modern times. The pageant also endeavors to forge partnerships with various agencies and organization from the public and private sector, may it be the local or national scene.

The candidates who passed the preliminary screening possess the following criteria: Filipino citizen, a resident of Olongapo , 18-24 years old , at least 5’4” in height, charming, intelligent and with grace.

The winner of this pageant will have the chance to represent the city in the national beauty pageants, and will receive a cash prize.
