BARANGAY BANICAIN COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM

Barangay Banicain is living up to the slogan of Olongapo City Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr.’s administration “Fighting for Excellence”. Hailed as the most “high tech barangay”, Barangay Captain Ernelizar P. Batapa launched the second batch of the Barangay’s Computer Literacy Program last September 3, 2010.

The program gives residents of New Banicain the chance to upgrade their skills in computer and prepare themselves to become part of a dynamic labor force which can compete globally.

A total of sixty four (64) trainees enrolled for the program. Classes started last September 13, 2010 with nine units of computers and two instructors. Session schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00PM-9:00PM, with the following subjects:

Module 1 Basic Computer Operation
Module 2 Windows
Module 3 Microsoft Word
Module 4 Microsoft Excel
Module 5 Microsoft PowerPoint
Module 6 Microsoft Publisher
Module 7 Basic Internet Operation
