New Police City Director of Olongapo

Mayor Gordon this morning introduced the new City Director of Philippine National Police, Senior Supt. Christopher E. Tambungan, his last assignment is regional chief of the 10th Police Center for Aviation Security based in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.

SSupt used to be the head of CIDG in Olongapo City, during his previous stint in Olongapo, the City Council of Olongapo passed a resolution commending the local PNP 3RD REGIONAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION AND DETECTION UNIT (CIDU) HEADED BY POLICE SUPT. Tambungan made the news recently when he was likened to sharp-shooting cop Dirty Harry when he drew his gun with lightning speed and killed one of the suspects in a robbery attempt in Santa Cruz, Manila.
