A total of nine hundred forty six (946) applicants endorsed by the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) has been hired by SM Olongapo as of August 2, 2011.
SM Construction employed two hundred thirty (230) applicants, SM Department Store hired two hundred eighty seven (287) applicants and four hundred twenty nine (429) applicants have been taken in by SM Retail Affiliates.
”Maraming Olongapeño ang nagkaroon ng trabaho sa pagdating ng SM, kaya’t huwag ninyong palampasin ang mga oportunidad tulad nito para makatulong sa inyong pamilya,” Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr., said.
Job applicants are advised to bring their resume, recent 2x2 picture, Birth Certificate, Diploma, Transcript of records and Police or NBI Clearance and submit toPESO at Annex Building of the City Hall Complex or call 222-2661/224-4541 for more information and job vacancies.
“Bukas ang PESO para sa lahat ng Olongapeño na nagnanais mag-apply, maging ng trabaho para sa ibang bansa ay maaari naming kayong matulungan,” remarked PESO head lawyer Batch Perez.
