Oil spill alarms Subic tourists

SUBIC Bay Freeport ` Local tourists and beach promenaders feared the outbreak of skin diseases after an oil spill hit Subic Bay last Sunday.

The oil spill might cause allergies and other skin diseases to swimmers even if it had been contained.

Seaport Department manager Perfecto Pascual said they already have contingency plans in case of a spread of skin disease in the area. - R. Reblando, Journal Online
