2007 Palarong Pambansa, Matagumpay!
Binigyan parangal ni Mayor James “Bong” Gordon ang dedikasyon, disiplina at matinding pagsasanay ng mga Olongapeñong atleta na lumahok kamakailan sa 2007 Palarong Pambansa na ginanap Koronadal City, South Cotobato.
Ang Olongapo City Team ay kinabibilangan ng dalawampu’t siyam (29) na atleta, sampung (10) coaches/chaperons at limang (5) delegation officials na nagpamalas ng kanilang galing sa iba’t-ibang larangan ng palakasan at nakaani ng tagumpay. Sila ang mga sumusunod:

“Tagumpay sa Palarong Pambansa ang hangad ng lahat ng aleta kaya’t hindi matatawaran ang galing at talento ng mga kabataan na ito. Sila ay tunay na bumubuhay sa Olongapo Slogan na “Fighting for Excellence”, ayon kay Mayor Bong Gordon.
