Clark Development Corporation (CDC) president Levy Laus said he welcomed the call of Pampanga second district Representative Juan Miguel "Mikey" Arroyo for calm and sobriety in connection with issue of the proposed interchanges for Subic- Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx).
"Everybody should respect Congressman Mikey's appeal because it will ultimately be good for everyone," said Laus, who is also the chairman of the Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Arroyo on Wednesday asked all concerned to avoid making any more statements "that may exacerbate the current situation."
He was apparently referring to the conflicting statements issued by Pampanga officials on which of the three proposed interchanges had been approved by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
"I wish to make clear my position on the issue of the proposed SCTEx interchanges in Pampanga," said the lawmaker.
Congressman Arroyo said the controversy must not be allowed to divide the province's leaders and people.
Laus said he agreed with Mikey's view that the final report on the proposals will focus on technical soundness and least cost to the government.
