OLONGAPO CITY: Police authorities recovered stolen jewelry worth P1.5 million suspect on Easter Sunday afternoon.

Police Director Senior Supt. Abelardo Villacorta identified the suspect as Marvin Awa, 27, a resident of 35 Balic Balic in Sta. Rita. Initial investigation revealed that Awa forcibly entered the back door of the house of certain Marilyn Escriba at 67 Elicaño St., East Bajac-Bajac and took the jewelry. He then personally reported the robbery hoping the police would not suspect him. Unfortunately, the police matched finger prints lifted from the crime scene with those Awa.
