HEALTH ISSUES FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
The City Health Office (CHO) of Olongapo City headed by Dr. Arnildo C. Tamayo together with the city health employees will lead the information campaign that will focus primarily on the following issues this month of September: National Epilepsy Awareness Week-September 1-7, Obesity Prevention and Awareness Week- September 8-14, World Heart Day- September 26, World Rabies Day- September 28
The campaign aims to educate the people of the proper ways and precautions to avoid the aforementioned diseases.
It is expected that after the celebration, Olongapeños, including employees, will practice a healthy lifestyle, following the guidance of the city health office.
These commemorations are observed not only in the City of Olongapo but in other parts of the country as well with the help of the Department of Health.
