In line with the celebration of Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr’s birthday, a Job Fair will be held on October 3, 2008 at the Olongapo City Convention Center (OCCC) from 9am until 3pm.

Different local and overseas jobs await the applicants. Over twenty job agencies are expected to participate in the event.

‘Karamihan ng mga local jobs ay para sa mga factory workers at hotel positions samantalang para sa overseas naman ay kailangan ng mga skilled workers at hotel and management positions,” said Public Employment Services Office (PESO) chief Evelyn delos Santos.

Overseas jobs are expected to be in countries such as Canada, Australia, Dubai and United Arab Emirates.

This Job fair is also in line with Mayor Gordon’s aim to provide jobs for Olongapenos.

Applicants interested are required to bring the following:

-Resume with 2x2 picture
-Birth certificate (authenticated)
-Transcript of records/ Diploma
-NBI/Police Clearance
-Certificate of Employment
-Passport (for overseas applicants)

The job fair is sponsored by the city government of Olongapo and WOWCARD Inc.
