2 HELD FOR PIMPING GIRL
SUBIC Bay Freeport – An American and his lady friend were arrested by operatives of the SBMA Law Enforcement Department for pimping a 12-year-old girl Thursday morning.
Retired Gen. Orlando Maddela, Jr., SBMA-LED manager identified the suspects as Philip Fred Buris, 66, of Room 103, Jade Building, Crown Peak, Cubi Point, and Ma.Elisa Claros Quintana of Subic, Zambales.
Investigators said Sally (not her real name) went to hear cousin’s house in Mangan-Vaca, Subic to watch television when Quintana arrived.
Quintana asked Sally to go with her to the Freeport for a leisurely walk. They boarded a van being driven by Buris. But Quintana alighted in front of Saint Jude Hospital in Olongapo City. Buris handed her a P1, 000 bills before they left.
Buris brought Sally to his residence. Feeling uneasy when he sat besides her asking if she was still virgin, the victim asked him where she could buy food because was hungry. He handed her a P200 bill.
After buying food at a canteen, she ran to the nearest SBMA checkpoint to complain.
Charges of violation of the Anti-trafficking of Person Act were filed against the suspects, with no bail recommended.
The two were detained at the Olongapo Police Station.
