MORE JOBS OFFERED IN OLONGAPO

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. continues to provide assistance to job seekers in Olongapo and the Freeport through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

According to the list released by PESO, as of January 2009, prospective employers are mostly from local companies that are service-oriented and those engaged in the manufacturing industries.

Several hotels and restaurants are looking for qualified individuals to fill in administrative and maintenance positions. There are also opportunities for individuals who have backgrounds in accounting and engineering. For fresh graduates and working students, several fast food restaurants have openings for management trainees and service crews.

A complete list of the job openings have been posted on public bulletin boards strategically placed around the city and be accessed online at www.pesoolongapo.weebly.com.

Interested applicants may also inquire and at the Receiving Section of PESO located at Ground Floor, Business Permit Division of the City Hall Complex. Applicants are requested to submit a complete set of basic employment requirements for the immediate processing of their applications.
