BUHAY PARTYLIST REPRESENTATIVE ‘ADOPTED DAUGHTHER OF OLONGAPO CITY’


Buhay Partylist Sectoral Representative Ma. Carissa O. Coscolluela formally received the resolution confirming her as an ‘Adopted Daughter of Olongapo City’.

Olongapo First Lady Anne Marie Gordon and Vice Mayor Cynthia Cajudo presented the resolution to Representative Coscolluela on March 10, 2009 at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center.

Congresswoman Coscolluela is the guest of honor of the Olongapo City Women’s Council in the celebration of International Women’s Month in the city. ‘’Patuloy kong susuportahan ang Lungsod ng Olongapo partikular na sa paglalaan ng pondo para sa ibat-ibang programa ni Mayor Bong Gordon.’’

‘’Ipinapangako ko rin na daragdagan ko pa ang pondong ibinigay ko sa James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital,’’ she added.

Resolution No. 24 (series of 2009) entitled, ‘’A Resolution Conferring the Title ‘Adopted Daughter of Olongapo City’ to Hon. Carissa Coscolluela, A Representative, Buhay Partylist, for Her Magnanimous Contributions in the City’’ was passed unanimously by the members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod and approved by City Mayor James ‘’Bong’’ Gordon, Jr.

Congresswoman Coscolluela’s contributions in the city includes infusing funds for the expansion of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, skills training and livelihood programs of Mayor Gordon as well as in the purchase of the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) patrol cars.

She is also instrumental along with Senator Richard Gordon and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in the sponsorship by WOW Card of a two-day Job Fair at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC) which benefited companies and employees of Olongapo and Freeport Zone.

Environment is the main concern of the congresswoman in the legislative branch.
