Hanjin aggressive in looking for clients
Although it has completed only four of the 37 ships ordered since 2008, the Subic-based Hanjin Group is said to be very aggressive about looking for new clients this year.
Last year, the Korean company racked up quite a record in terms of work-related injuries and shelled out P3 billion in salaries to workers numbering between 20,000 and 25,000.
This, of course, forms a big part of the 87,000 workforce under the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) headed by Armand Arreza. This year, SBMA hopes the workforce will reach 100,000. Written by Not Business as Usual / By Margaret Jao-Grey - Budiness Mirror
