MS. OLONGAPO IS MS. PHILIPPINES-EARTH BEST IN TALENT

Miss Olongapo City Angelee Claudett Delos Reyes bested 49 other candidates in the talent competition, the last pre-pageant event of the 2009 Ms. Philippines-Earth at the Teatrino Theater and Bar at Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan City on May 6, 2009.

Delos Reyes wowed the audience and the judges when she rendered an original acting number where she recited a monologue, sang a song, danced a tune, and mimicked a popular drama anthology host.

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. values homegrown talents and has been supporting local artists in singing, dancing, as well as local beauties who help promote the city’s tourism industry.

“Olongapo City is enriched not only with natural resources, but also with a variety of talents, creativity and skills of Olongapeños,” shares Gordon. “Continue to make Olongapo City proud!,” he ended.
