Freeport Shootfest set
SUBIC Bay Freeport – Hundreds to shooters from Region 1, 2, 3, 4 and metro manila are expected to join the 1st Chief Supt. Orlando Maddela, Jr. (ret.) Cup Level II to be held at the SBMA Firing Range Naval Magazine on May 29, 30 and 31.
The three-day competition will be hosted by the Zambales, Olongapo Pistol and Riffle Association headed by its President Anthony “Bong” dela Peña.
The competitions have seven stages. The course of fire composed of Stage 1 – Tactics, Stage 2 – Scorpion’s Tail, Stage 3 – Way of the Scorpion, Stage 4 – Two-Way, Stage 5 – Sting, Stage 6 – Zigzag and Stage 7 – Along D’ Way.
Shooters will be competing in Open, Standard, Modified, Production, Revolver and Single Stack categories. Up for grabs are 54 trophies.
Top shooter such as Jethro Dionisio, former World Shooter Champion, is expected to join the shootfest.
