Olongapo LTO ups collection

OLONGAPO City -- The Land Transportation Office, Olongapo City District has reported an increase of 9.86 percent in revenue collection from January to June this year compared to last year’s collection.

Reynaldo J. Cortez, LTO district head, said actual revenue collection reached P32,138,351, surpassing this year’s target collection of P29,253,000 and last year’s collection of P27,085,552.40.

The motor vehicle registration increased from 19,480 in 2008 to 20,672, and motor vehicle transaction from 35,081 in 2008 to 36,833, this year.

On law enforcement, there was a decrease from 3,306 violators in 2008 to 3,012 in 2009. By: Mamer Bañez - Journal online
