BRGY. EAST BAJAC-BAJAC, MOST OUTSTANDING IN REGION III

The Local Government of Olongapo City has, once again, added a feather to its cap with yet another achievement. Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac bagged the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Awards (LTIA) for Highly Urbanized Cities category. This award is being conferred to barangays with exemplary performance in judiciously and expeditiously resolving inter-personal and community conflicts referred to them for amicable settlement.

Lupong Tagapamayapa functions as a body for dispute settlement and conflict resolution among barangay constituents. That’s why the selection of winners is based on the efficiency of operations, effectiveness in securing the objectives of the program and creativity and resourcefulness of the mediators.

Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac, under the leadership of Brgy. Captain Filipina Tablan along with the rest of her Lupon members received the citation from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office at Maimpis, San Fernando, Pampanga.

Olongapo City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. commended the achievement of Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac at the flag raising ceremonies held recently.

“Nananalo ang mga barangay natin, it’s getting to be a good habit. Last time ay ang Brgy.

Captain Tablan. “Tayo ang panlaban ng Region III sa buong Pilipinas, sana ay ipanalangin ninyo na manalo tayo,” she also added.

For winning the regional level, Brgy. East Bajac-Bajac advanced to the National Level representing the entire Region III.
