LTO FIXERS, BEWARE!
Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. has directed Police Senior Superintendent Oscar D. Abayalde of the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) and Brgy. Captain Jesus Federico of Brgy. Kalaklan to help the Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Chief Wilfredo Tajonera in addressing the problem of “fixers.”
In a letter, the LTO chief particularly pointed out the fixers at the BSC Smoke Emission Testing Center and Bloom Smoke Emission Testing Center located at Ohio St., Upper Kalaklan. Tajonera said, the fixers would take the registration papers from would be victims and take vehicles to the emission testing centers themselves.
The chief also added that as soon as the registration papers were given to the fixers, they will ask for unreasonable amounts of money and tell vehicle owners to return after a few days for their registration papers.
Some of the fixers would go as far as fabricating stories like the system is “offline” and that they were not be able to do the transactions but that was just a ploy they use to get away with the registrant’s money, Tajonera said.
Victims of the alleged fixers already filed complaints. Some of the fixers already received subpoenas which demanded that they give back the money they took from their victims. In another report, there were other fixers who were also subpoenaed and were given the same demand but are still there at the LTO extorting and deceiving people.
The LTO is incessantly doing every possible step they can to completely dissolve the fixers out of their office like ask for police assistance from the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Mayor Gordon also directed the Public Affairs Office (PAO) to lead the dissemination of information to, first and foremost, the LTO registrants not to contact or interact with the fixers. Then, the fixers themselves to stop doing illegal things or they would have to deal with the punishments that they deserve according to the law.

im from Bataan but since Chief Tajonera became the District Head of LTO olongapo City, I choose to register with their office because of the efficiency of the transactions unlike with the LTO-Pilar, Bataan where mostly of the fixers are members of Chief Da Jose's Family.
