Vice-Governor Anne Gordon Leads Celebration of Women’s Month

First Lady and Zambales Vice-Governor Anne Marie Gordon, a known advocate of women empowerment in connection with the observance of National Women’s Day last March 8, and the Women’s Month Celebration .

Against Women (VAW),” Vice-Governor Anne Marie added, who is now running as Congresswoman of the First District of Zambales.

It can be recalled that Anne Gordon thru the support of her husband, Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. caused the construction and setting-up of the Center for Women, a temporary shelter that helps women in crisis and victims of abuse to rise up from their condition. Also, under the leadership of Anne Gordon as Presiding Officer of the Provincial Board of Zambales, ordinances and resolutions were passed promoting the welfare of women, and the people in general, in the health, education, and employment sectors.
