LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM IN THE 1ST DISTRICT OF ZAMBALES, PRIORITY OF FL ANNE GORDON

Olongapo City First Lady and Zambales Vice Gov. Anne Gordon has always been keen on her support for the Scholarship and Medical Assistance Programs of the local government. But apart from that, should she be elected as Congresswoman in the 1st Distict of Zambales on May 10, 2010, she would also devote her attention on Livelihood Programs for her constituents.

‘’Ano po ang gagawin ko kung ako ay papalarin sa May 10 elections? Meron po akong tatlong (3) programa bilang bise gobernador ng lalawigan ng Zambales ito po ang scholarship program, medical assistance at livelihood program na higit ko pang palalakasin bilang kinatawan ninyo sa kongreso,’’ said FL Anne Gordon to the residents of Brgy. Barretto.

At the ‘’Bingo Bong-gah Anne, Panalo Ka Bayan’’ courtesy of Kalinga Community for Children at Plaza Dos in Brgy. Baretto on May 3, 2010, FL Anne Gordon cited her plans for the improvement of the Livelihood Program, ‘’ Sa halip na ako ang hahawak ng pondo para sa livelihood program ay ibibigay ko po ito sa mga mayors ng Lungsod ng Olongapo, Bayan ng Subic, Bayan ng Castillejos at Bayan ng San Marcelino.’’

FL Anne Gordon also stressed that she has so much faith and confidence on the mayors of the different municipalities of the 1st District of Zambales, enough to entrust them with the allocation for the Livelihood Programs, ‘’Dahil naniniwala po ako na ang punong-lungsod at punong-bayan ng Unang Distrito ng Zambales na mas kilala nila kung sino-sino sa mga mamamayan nila ang nangangailangan ng tulong at bigyan ng puhunan para makapag-umpisa ng maliit na negosyo dahil gusto ko po na balance ang development ng Unang Distrito ng Zambales at mas maraming mamamayan ang makikinabang sa tinatawag nating pork barrel ng congresswoman.’’

The 2009 City Fiesta Executive Committee under the chairmanship of First Lady Anne Gordon raised a substantial amount of funds, part of which was allotted to the Livelihood Program of Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. which benefitted a lot Olongapeños.
