SEN GORDON: Suportahan natin ang Administrasyon ni Noynoy
"I would like to congratulate Sen. Aquino for his spectacular victory. I call upon this nation to unite and support him. I would like to thank everyone who supported me especially my volunteers and those who gave up their limited resources as a manifestation of trust in my brand of leadership and track record. I ran a very truthful, straightforward and candid campaign and thought we could run on the basis of our platform, track record and volunteerism,’’ Senator Richard Gordon said after the presidential elections in the country on May 10, 2010.
‘’I would like to congratulate all the winners and pray that they serve our country well. We accept the will of the people. Today, we have a victory for democracy with the successful exercise of our first nationwide automated election despite naysayers and doubters. The fight for this country goes beyond this day. Let us forge on in building a Bagumbayan for our people. I am happy to return to private life and continue my volunteer work with the Philippine Red Cross,’’ added Sen. Gordon who authored and pushed for the implementation of the Amended Automated Elections Law.
Senator Gordon commended the teachers who were hired as Board of Inspectors (BEI). He also commended the Filipino people because the heat, long lines and minor machine malfunctions did not stop them from casting their votes for the first fully automated nationwide elections. ‘’Despite some glitches, the counting of votes was quick and teachers no longer needed to work for long hours as in the past manual elections.’’ by Pao/Jordan

Job Well Done and thanks for your Service.I hope alot of Olongapenos will follow your footstep.
Your brand of leadership is unique and amazing track records of accomplishments.
Your candid, straightforward and tone on campaign probably gave uncomfortable impressions to many.
Perhaps the timing is not quite right. He ride along on his family band wagon, popular ex-president mother just died. And maybe plenty of us are blissfully ignorant. But of course we respect the will of the people.
