ENHANCED CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUGS
In accordance with the HELPS program of Mayor James Gordon, under the aspect of Peace and Order, the Olongapo City Police Office has intensified it’s campaign against activities involving the pushing/selling and using of illegal drugs.
This, after the recent discovery of cocaine near the shores of Baranggay Pundaguit, San Antonio, Zambales. According to P/Supt. Baltazar Mamaril, spokesperson of the Central Luzon PNP, the 1.1 k of cocaine with an estimated street value of P5.4M was found inside a plastic container and was fished out by fishermen from the Mindoro-Manila Bay, Bataan-Zambales seas. The Central Luzon Crime Laboratory of Camp Olivas, San Fernando City, Pampanga has confirmed that the contents of said container was cocaine hydrochloride.
“We will not allow drug lords enter our City of Olongapo. Mayor James Bong Gordon said when asked of his opinion regarding the proliferation of drug related activities in adjoining towns.
It can be recalled that only months ago, suspected drug pushers/users Robert Paul Mason, Mark Anthony Quinday and Enrique “Junjun” Magsaysay were nabbed at a hotel along Gordon Avenue in Olongapo City. Charges have been filed and the case is still ongoing.

Make every barangay a "Crime Watch barangay" use the power of home phone/cellphone in reporting suspicious activities in community and reaction time from the authority counts alot in reducing/eliminating the problem.
