OLONGAPO CITY POLICE OFFICE AND POLICE STATION 1 BEST IN REGION 3

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr., expressed his admiration to the Olongapo City Police Office in front of the City officials and employees of City Hall during the Flag Raising Ceremony at Rizal Triangle covered court last August 2, 2010. “Muli na namang tumanggap ng pagkilala ang Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) bilang ‘Best Regional Police Community Relations Unit of the Year’ for the whole Region 3,’’ he said.

Olongapo City Police Director Sr/Supt.Oscar Albayalde and Police Chief Inspector Cesar Cabling presented the two (2) trophies to Mayor Gordon namely, “Best Regional Police Community Relations Unit of the Year” and “Best Regional Police Station of the Year-Olongapo City Police Station 1.

“These awards prove that Olongapo is really a model city. Sikapin pa natin na panatilihin ang maayos na peace and order situation ng lungsod pero hindi lamang ito magagawa at makakayang mag-isa ng pamahalaan, mahalaga ang partisipasyon ng bawat Olongapeños,’’ Mayor Gordon added.

Because of the honor received by the OCPO, it will represent Region 3 on the national level.

OCPO continuously receive support from the City government in terms of trainings and seminars for personnel and also equipment such as patrol vehicles.

Police Chief Inspector Cesar Cabling and Police Insp. Gerald Fernandez received the awards in behalf of Sr/Supt. Oscar Albayalde at Camp Olivas, San Fernando, Pampanga, in connection with the celebration of Community Relations Month of Philippine National Police (PNP).

With Mayor Gordon and Sr/Supt. Albayalde is Police Chief Inspector Cesar Cabling who also presented the ‘Best Regional Police Station of the Year’ award received by the Olongapo City Police Station 1’. The awards were presented during the flag raising ceremony on August 2, 2010 at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center.
