INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN UP DRIVE

The Lighthouse Marina Resort is spear-heading the coastal bay and water clean up drive in participation to the International Coastal Clean up, themed “Save my Bay, Save my World” on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 6:00am from Waterfront to Moonbay Marina.

The Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Clean up Campaign will be observed not only in the city but all over the world.

On the said activity, volunteers will bring their own cleaning materials such as trash bags, rake, shovel, pail, refreshments, pen and paper for data recording. They are also encouraged to wear comfortable beach clothes, hat, gloves, thick-soled shoes or sandals, sunscreen and insect repellant.

A Photo exhibit and contest, an environmental forum and a beach party will round-up the activities.
