BB. OLONGAPO 2010 IS FROM NEW ASINAN

Cherry Hernaez, candidate number 12 was crowned Bb. Olongapo 2010. Nineteen(19) year old Cherry is a 3rd year Information Technology student of Columban College and a resident of Brgy. New Asinan.

Among the 17 candidates, Hernaez has proven herself worthy of the title. She has caught the attention of the judges and the audience when she bravely and wittingly answered the questions.

“ I guess it’s normal to feel nervous during the pageant, but what’s important is that I was able to answer the question correctly and confidently and maintained my poise. My friends and supporters helped a lot in my performance that night,” Hernaez said.

The Bb. Olongapo Grand Coronation Night was held at the Olongapo City Convention Center on October 16, 2010.

Aside from winning the Bb. Olongapo title, Hernaez also received the title Ms. Zoobic Safari and Ms. Centro Dep’t. Store.

Meanwhile, candidate number 17, Princess Mae Piano bagged the Bb. Olongapo Tourism. Princess is the daughter of former Councilor Edwin Piano and an IT graduate from Gordon College.

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. said, the Bb. Olongapo contest is a boost to the tourism industry of the city. The Bb. Olongapo 2010 winner will represent the city in upcoming national beauty pageants.
