2 minors rescued from Zambales ‘sex’ den
MANILA Mayor Alfredo S. Lim yesterday met the two minors rescued from two nightclubs in Zambales where they were forced to work as guest relations officers.
“Grace” and “Ella,” both 17, were rescued from Pasaway and High Resort nightclubs after they were allegedly hired by Lorens Jean M. Javier, who is reportedly a sister of “Ella.”
The girls were rescued by the operatives of the Manila Department of Social Welfare and District Special Police Unit of the MANILA police headed by Maj. Nicholas Piñon.
The rescue operation was made possible in coordination with Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane and police commander Chief Insp. Ponce Rogelio Peñones.
Lim ordered MDSW head Jay dela Fuente to provide the girls with all the help they need so they can finish high school under the Alternative Learning School program.
The mayor also gave cash aid to their families under the “Tulong Pangkabuhayan” program.
Lim ordered the manhunt for Javier and the filing of charges against her. journal.com.ph
