OLONGAPO CITY, OUTSTANDING CENTRAL LUZON LGU

Olongapo City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. received three awards Olongapo City won at the 5th Recognition of Outstanding Central Luzon Local Government Units (LGUs) held at the Holiday Inn, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga recently.

The awards are: (1) Model LGU in the implementation of reforms under the nationwide streamlining of business permits and licensing system in the Philippine Program for the year 2010, (2) 1st Place in Highly Urbanized City category for the excellent implementation of its streamlined procedures on the issuance of mayor’s permit for the year 2010, and (3) Hall of Fame Award for its outstanding achievements as the consistent 1st place winner for three consecutive years (from 2008 to 2010) in the implementation of its documented streamlined procedures on the issuance of mayor’s permit.

  • This seems only on mayor's office businesses.

When we are going to see awards night for a person working sa tubig at ilaw..
Do they find a new system to beat the long lines that seems eternity just to pay tubig and ilaw.....

  • Bakit hindi mai-apply and ganitong simplified na sistema sa bayaran ng tubig, kuryente, specially sa B.I.R.

Is this system obsolete to run these agencies or the old dogs workers are just brain dead.

  • My mother is a resident of WBB and own a property since 1957 and paying property taxes since then. Now,she thinks of "heir transfer"; finding out there's no name on her land title.Do you smell legal trouble and the amount of money which she don't have; on this poor senior citizen of Olongapo going to face. You see where I'am going. You can just nod your head and said "WOW"
