The Philippine National Police (PNP) will simultaneously conduct another nationwide Entrance and Promotional Examinations on October 23, 2011. The period of filing of application starts from August 15, 2011 and concludes on September 16, 2011.
“Pinapayuhan ang mga aplikante na mag-file ng application for exam ng maaga upang makaabot sa itinakdang quota,” said Ruben C. Delos Santos, Napolcom Director for Olongapo, Zambales and Bataan.
Qualified civilians to take the PNP entrance test are bachelor degree holders, not more than 30 years old, 1.62 meters tall for male and 1.57 meters for female. The entrance exam is also a requirement for PNP officers with temporary status as Police Officer 1 to have a permanent appointment in the police service.
Applicants must bring two (2) recent and identical 1” x 1” ID pictures (in color) with white background and complete name tag, one (1) legal size window envelope, transcript of records or diploma and birth certificate issued by NSO.
The promotional examination is open to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP such as Police Officers, Senior Police Officer, Police Inspectors and Police Superintendents.
Applicants for the promotional exam should submit 2 recent and identical 1” x 1” ID pictures (in color)with white background and complete name tag and certificate true copy of attested appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order and a report of rating/certification issued by National Police Commission (Napolcom) Central Office, CSC Certificate of Eligibility and/or PRC Board Certificate.
