2 SAFs, 5 others held for drugs, guns

OLONGAPO City — Two members of the Special Action Force and five civilians were collared by joint operatives of the Drug Enforcement Group and Police Station 3 here in simultaneous drug operations in Barangay Pag-Asa and Kalaklan Saturday afternoon, police said.

City police director Senior Supt. Florencio Buentipo, Jr. said Julius Que, 28, of 13-A Gordon Avenue, Barangay Pag-Asa was arrested on Bonifacio St. after selling shabu worth P200 to a police poseur-buyer.

When Que revealed the source of the drug, Senior Insp. Leo Batinga led a team to Room 3 of Ocean View Beach Resort Hotel in Barangay Kalaklan where they caught Senior Insp. Neil Trumpeta, 34, an AWOL SAF member; PO3 Paul Telespara, 37, of the 21st Coy, 2BN Detachment in Castillejos, Zambales; Larry Lewis Adamos; Leana Que; Jacquelyn Calinag; and Althea Cortez, both GROs at MR Videoke Bar, having a pot session.

"Nang pasukin namin yung kanilang kuwarto, huli silang nagpa-pot session at nagsambulat yung mga shabu at drug paraphernalia kasama yung tatlong babae na ibinar-fine nila sa MR Videoke bar," said PO3 Allan delos Reyes, DEG investigator.

Recovered from the suspects were three sachets containing eight grams of suspected shabu; two cal. .45 pistols and five magazines for cal. .45 with ammo.
