‘Iwas Putok’ drive pays off in 'Gapo

OLONGAPO City – The “Iwas Putok” campaign of the city police paid off as fireracker injuries were significantly lower this year.

City police director Senior Supt. Angelito Pacia said eight persons were taken to the James Gordon Memorial Hospital compared to 10 persons last year.

The city government designated a firecracker zone for vendors. Violators were arrested by the police. Johnny R. Reblando
