Japanese info tech firm to locate in Subic
MANILA, Philippines -- Triple Win Innovation Center (TIC), an information technology outsourcing company based in Japan, has committed an investment of $640,000 to set up a facility at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) said Monday.
TIC caters to automobile and appliance companies for software design and development. It will set up TIC Philippines Software Technology Inc., which will bring in state-of-the-art Japanese technology, the SBMA said.
The Philippine unit will hire initially 15 employees for preliminary operations, at the Boton Light and Science Park, the SBMA said. More employees will be hired as required, it added.
