The band of armed robbers who broke into a house Dinalupihan last Monday and raped a 15-year-old occupant of the house - a high school student studying in Olongapo City - before fleeing with the loot has been identified by detectives, the local chief of police said yesterday.

Senior Inspector Rogelio Rillon, chief of police here, said the group that is composed of five men and a woman is now being hunted. Their identities were not divulged so as not to jeopardize the operation.

They were responsible for breaking into a house in Barangay Bangal, this town, at 1:30 a.m. Monday and stealing a digital camera; two laptop computers; a play station unit; assorted pieces of jewelry; P1,500 cash; 200-euros; eight US0; and three cellular phones.

But before making their getaway, four of the robbers raped a high school student studying in Olongapo City while the other occupants of the house were ordered to lie on the ground at gunpoint. By MAR T. SUPNAD - TEMPO
