VGOV ANNE, DONATES CHAMPO-VITA FOR CITY’S FEEDING PROJECTS

Olongapo First Lady and Zambales Vice Governor Anne Marie Gordon donated four (4) boxes of Champo-Vita Chocolate Rice Pudding to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) for its feeding projects for undernourished children.

In the recent flag raising ceremony of city officials and employees at Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center, CSWDO head Gene Eclarino personally received from First Lady Vice Governor Anne Gordon (four) 4 boxes of Champo-Vita Chocolate Rice Pudding with ten (10) packs each.

According to First Lady and Vice Governor Gordon, the said food supplements to CSWDO is meant to assist the department particularly with its feeding programs for undernourished children in the city.

Eclarino said she will coordinate with City Nutrition Action Officer Ritch Torralba for the use of the donated Champo-Vita packs in the feeding programs being conducted in the city.

It can be recalled that health is one of the top priorities of Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. to uplift the health conditions of Olongapeños, especially the children, the city government conducts feeding programs through the CSWDO and City Health Office. One of the recent feeding programs conducted in the city was the joint feeding program of the city government and the Unity Masonic Masonic Lodge 285.

Feeding programs in the city are being conducted to help malnourished children gain healthy bodies and enjoy healthy childhood just as what Mayor Gordon wishes for every young Olongapeño.
