LOT BUYERS CAUTIONED TO CHECK WITH CITY PLANNING
The City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) of Olongapo City is currently developing a program to organize the city’s land information to help land buyers and investors to accelerate the decision making and also secure that the lands that they are buying are alienable and disposable.
The innovative project, called the Land Asset Management (LAM) Virtual One-Stop Shop, is a system where all the essential land information of a certain area can be viewed by prospective buyers, investors and owners to determine which lands are available for purchase.
“This project coordinates all the information ng mga lupa sa city which aims to put all the investments and properties and also warn yung mga bibili ng lupa kasi may instances na may mga problema pala sa bibilihin nilang lupa kaya hindi nila mapapagalaw ang processing,” said CPDO chair Marey Beth Marzan.
The project was made possible through a grant from the Innovation Support Fund (ISF) which was secured through the efforts of Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr. as a part of his program to consolidate all the land related information of the city.
