MAYOR GORDON GIVES CASH INCENTIVES TO DMO
Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr. gave cash incentives to the Disaster Management Office (DMO), headed by Angie Layug on September 15, 2008 during the flag raising ceremony held at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center. Mayor Gordon rewarded the DMO for their excellent performance and consistent winning of awards and recognitions all around the country.
It can be recalled that the DMO was recently elevated to the Hall of Fame for their three consecutive wins as the ‘Best Emergency Response Team’ (GOERS) in the country.
This award is just one of the many recognitions that DMO has earned for the past few years. DMO has particularly been earning numerous accolades in the Gawad Kalasag Awards which is given by Malacañang Palace for outstanding disaster management and response.
“I commend the DMO for their consistent and excellent performance through the years. Congratulations!” said Mayor Gordon.
Forty (40) DMO personnel received cash incentives.
