The yearly Night Bazaar which has been part of the tradition in Olongapo City will open on Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Freeport Services Corporation (FSC) grounds, Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The operations of the Night Bazaar at FSC was awarded to the Olongapo City government and is expected to be an income generating project for the city.

During the flag raising ceremony last October 13, 2008, City Fiesta 2008 Execom Chairperson and Councilor Ellen Dabu disclosed before the city employees and officials the activities for the Night Bazaar.

The event is tagged Bonggapo! City Fiesta Night Bazaar 2008. The City Fiesta committee hopes to raise funds for Olongapo’s projects on education and livelihood for the people of Olongapo.

To jump-start the activity, a Motorcade will be held starting from Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Covered Court going to FSC Grounds, Subic Bay Freeport Zone to be followed by a mass and Ribbon Cutting by Olongapo, Zambales, SBMA and FSC officials.

Below is the program of activities prepared by the City Fiesta Committee 2008:

Reggae Band, 11:30pm
