OLONGAPO CITY WEBSITE

Olongapo City Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr. recently commended the Management Information Systems (MIS) for their excellent work in putting-up the Olongapo City Website (http://olongapocity.gov.ph). Currently uploaded in the website are some of the important announcements, news about the city, and other information including Mayor Gordon’s programs.

One of the features of the Website is the ‘Symbols of Progress’ page where the structures and emblems of the city can be viewed. Included in these ‘Symbols of Progress’ are the Olongapo City Convention Center, the Olongapo City Hall, the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, and the Olongapo City Museum.

Announcements, news, and events that can be found in the website are City Fiesta events, Business Permit updates and others.

The website also contains the up-to-date events and activities happening in the city and features downloadable contents like important documents for business transactions in the government like Mayor's Permit, Real Estate Lessor’s Declaration and Declaration of Gross Sales.

The Job Market page of the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) can also be found in the website.

“Ang website ay magsisilbing information pathway para sa mga Olongapeño upang malaman nila ang mga bagong pangyayari at mga important data regarding the city. Alam naman natin na sa ngayon, malakas ang impact ng internet sa society and we will use that as a key to reach out to the people,” said Mayor Gordon.
