GSO, TOPS BOWLING TOURNAMENT
The General Services Office (GSO) of the city government over-powered eleven (11) other teams to land on top of the 1st Gordon’s Cup Inter-Department Bowling Tournament on Monday January 12, 2009 at Olongapo Crystal Lanes.
GSO played an outstanding game in the final match against Team CTO (City Treasury Office) which settled for second place.
The 1st Gordon’s Cup Inter-Department Bowling Tournament with the theme, “Sports for Peace , Teamwork and Excellence” is one of the sports activities initiated by the Olongapo City government to develop better relationships among the city employees and officials and enhance the individual and team building skills.
Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. who is also Chairman of the Olongapo City Sports Council (OCSC) will spearhead the closing ceremony on Thursday that will feature the announcement of winners and awarding of trophies, medals and certificates of recognition at Olongapo Crystal Lanes.
