NEW EQUIPMENT FOR OCPO

The Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) received several new equipment on January 5, 2009 during the celebration of the 15th Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day. It is expected that these equipment, donated by the city government of Olongapo and the Olongapo Business Club, will enhance the operations of the city’s police force in protecting the city.

The city government of Olongapo, through Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr., donated two (2) patrol cars while the Olongapo Business Club, headed by businessman, Sammy Del Rosario, turned over seven (7) brand new computer sets.

“The police force of Olongapo City has been performing consistently for the past few years. Patunay na dito ang pagkapanalo ng lungsod ng Best City Peace and Order Council at ilan pang mga regional awards kung saan binibigyang komendasyon ang natatanging galling ng mga pulis Olongapo,” said Mayor Gordon.

Also, in line with the celebration of the 15th Philippine National Police (PNP) Ethics Day, several policemen were awarded for their exemplary performance.

Mayor James ‘Bong’ Gordon Jr. turns-over the seven (7) new computer sets to Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) director PSSUPT Abelardo Villacorta on January 5, 2009 at the Rizal Triangle Multi-Purpose Center during the commemoration of the 15th Philippine National Police Ethics Day With Mayor Gordon on stage are Zambales Vice Governor and Olongapo City First Lady Anne Marie Gordon, City Vice Mayor Cynthia Cajudo and City Councilors Ellen Dabu, Gie Baloy and Aquilino Cortez.
