Drug test for Hanjin workers
SUBIC, Zambales – Workers of Hanjin Heavy Industries Corp. shipyard in Redondo Peninsula here may be subjected to random drug tests after one of them tried to smuggle 55 grams of marijuana inside the facility, concerned groups have proposed.
Police chief Senior Insp. Nelson dela Cruz identified the suspect as Ismael Anto Bino David Hamalud, 22, a pipe fitter, of Lower Kalaklan, Olongapo City.
SPO2 Jorge Cruz said Hamalud was casually entering the gate when he was stopped by a security officer. Hamalud became uncomfortable, prompting Cruz to examine his pocket which yielded Marijuana.
Police believe HHIC workers could be using marijuana inside the facility.
