Olongapo's Modern Day Heroes

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. and City Police Senior Superintendent Oscar Albayalde awarded certificates of appreciation to Reginald Bernardino, Jeffrey Lapid, Ronnie Caldejon, Jesus Laborete at Anderson Termida, members of Olongapo City Disaster Coordinating Council, in recognition of their invaluable efforts and assistance in the rescue operations of Typhoon Ondoy victims in Pasig City last September 27-29, 2009. Said certificates were presented by Mayor Gordon and Superintendent Albayalde to the courageous men who risked their lives to save others in front of city employees and guests who attended the flag raising ceremonies on January 4, 2010 at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court.
